Kinghorn Community Donations
Race organisers are pleased to put on the record the donations made to help local causes in our community. 2014 was a difficult year for the race with increased costs all round and the withdrawal of a major sponsor who we have been unable to replace so far.....
- £50 donated to Kinghorn Parish Church of Scotland on behalf of the volunteers who supervised the changing facilities at the church hall on the night.
- £200 to Burntisland 1st Aid Services Trust who provide our first aid cover on race night.
- £178 to the Friday lunch club held in the Community Centre for provision of safety equipment.
- £100 to Kinghorn in Bloom.
- £100 to support the Christmas Tree Festival held in Kinghorn Parish Church of Scotland.
- £114 to support an event held in the Community Centre - Supporting Later Life.
- £300 to help with rents for the uniformed organisations following the closure of the local hall.
Our ongoing and sincere thanks got to all the helpers who continue to offer their help to stage our event. We continue to attract top Scottish athletes to our wee town year after year!
