Tonight's the night!
The 2006 Black Rock '5' and Midi Black Rock races start at 7:45.
With a record number pre-entering, and hundreds registering on the night, Kinghorn is bracing itself for a record breaking amount of runners and spectators. The event organisers, Brian and John, would like to wish everyone good luck and we hope you all have a very enjoyable evening.
Race wide open!
The top end of the Black Rock '5' field has been depleted - no Mowbray, Naylor, Hart or YP this year - due to the Ian Harkness wedding!
Race Returns Home!
This year's Black Rock '5' Race returns to the original venue of the Ship Tavern, the landmark pub strategically located at the top of the notorious uphill finish. The grounds of the Ship are alsonthe venue for the prizegiving, at approx 9:30 - please support our winners and race sponsor!

Entries are now only available on the night.
To expedite entry, please download and complete an entry form before ariving to enter at the Community Centre. For the main event, the 5 mile race, the entry fees have changed: now £8 and £4 for over 18s and under 18 year olds respectively. The midi race fees still remain at £2.
T-Shirt Design Finalised!
The 2006 t-shirt will be on sale on the night of Friday 23rd June.

2006 Race Date Announced!
The date for this year's Black Rock '5' Race has been announced as Friday 23rd June, the nineteenth running of the Kinghorn event.
The main event starts at 19:45, with the Midi Black Rock race (for boys & girls in 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of secondary school) leaving the beach at 19:45. Please visit Entry Forms and About the Race for full details.
