A selection of photographs from this year's race are now available to view online. Others may follow in the next few days.

2011 results now online

Central's Ross Houston won this year's race with a time of 22:56. This year saw 696 runners completing the course.

Race Night Arrangements

All timing chips to be collected from Kinghorn Parish Church Hall from 6pm on Race night.

Four teams of race staff will be working to process entrants in blocks of 200, and from left to right, at the top end of the hall.

All entrants must declare using your race number.

Individual allocation only.

Please ensure your chip is fastened securely using the cable ties provided while at the hall or when you leave the changing areas.

If you are unsure of how to fit it, ASK.

Lost chips are your responsibility and will be charged at £20 for replacement.

New "Updated Entry List" Page

The "Check Your Entry" page has been updated with the entrant list as at June 14th 2011.

This year's race limit of 800 entries has now been reached (7th June 2011).

Please do not send any more new entries.

Race Limit Fast Approaching

This year's race limit of 800 entries is very likely to be reached before the cutoff date of Friday 17th June.

As of Friday, 3rd June, 706 entries had been received. Don't delay and be disappointed!

We've just added a page listing the numbers and names of entries received for this year's race. Currently it lists those entries received up to Friday 3rd June and can be found here or using the link at the bottom of the home page.

Entry forms available now!

Chip timing will be in use this year and a strict entry limit of 800 will be in place.

Further news will be posted in due course regarding chip distribution and return on the night. Your patience is appreciated, we know loads of you are keen to get your entries in!

2011 Race date confirmed

In a minor break from recent race history we are having to move the race back slightly in the calendar to make use of the best possible tidal conditions out towards the Rock. The date for the 2011 Black Rock '5' Race has been confirmed as Friday, 1st of July at 8:00 PM. Entry forms will be available on this site from March 1st. As in recent years, the race will be pre-entry only.
